Sugar Feeding & Nuisance Ant
The Sugar Feeding Ant and the Nuisance Ant are pretty common household pests, showing up mainly in kitchens and bathrooms. They have several species and they include the Argentine Ant, Crazy Ant, Odorous House Ant, Pharaoh Ant, Rover Ants and the Little Black Ant to name a few. Treating this type of ant species can be very counter productive with over the counter repellant products. Although you may kill some, you probably will force the colony to split up and make more colonies. Some ant species like these sugar feeding ants for instance release a danger pheromone when their under attack, causing the colony in stressful situations to “bud” or create separate new colonies from the first one. Its kind of like trying to put out a fire with gasoline.
The German Roach is the most common roach in the entire world. Therefore it has been treated with about every application product know to man, building a resistance to many of these products along the way. It reproduces ferociously and when you are treating these pest nothing less than the latest prescription products will get the job done. I like to call these the “Nazi’s” of the roach kingdom and it is such a please to kill them all. The German Roach Treatment is an inside only treatment that requires a Preparation List to be completed prior to service.A follow up call is customary on these pests 2 to 3 weeks after initial clean out service to determine if further treatment is necessary.
Rats & Mice
The Rat and Mouse Treatments are mainly determined on the species being treated. Therefore identification on the pest in highly important. We have “Norway Rats” they are ground burrowers, “Roof Rats” they like to get into sub floors and attics, and “Field or Deer Mice” they can be just about anywhere. Knowing the species can aid a great deal in better bait placement and clean out services. A follow up call is customary on these pests 2 to 3 weeks after initial clean out service to determine if further treatment is necessary.
Carpenter Ants & Acrobatic Ants
The Carpenter Ant is a wood destroying pest that usually starts with unsound wood, “wood that has been exposed to moisture” but can and does move to sound wood if necessary. The Acrobatic Ant will usually infest insulation removing it to forge there galleries. These 2 pest look remarkably a like the main way to tell which is which is the Acrobatic Ant has a heart shaped thorax or “tail” that they can lift up and above its head when aggitated, hence the name Acrobatic Ant. The Carpenter Ant has a rounder thorax “tail” and will discard frass “wood powder” outside of there gallery. A follow up call is customary on these pests 2 to 3 weeks after initial clean out service to determine if further treatment is necessary.
Yard Fire Ant
Ahh that good ol’ deep in the heart of Texas Fire Ant. Well nothing good can be said at all about the Fire Ant other than they do help out with the bio-degradation process of our fallen fury friends in the wild,” but not in the yard where our kids, pets and home owners play. We perform an initial knock down of this pest and provide a treatment that last for one full year, if you ever get Fire Ants back into your yard within that year the re-treatment cost you nothing.
Fleas & Ticks
Fleas and Tick can enter the home of pet owners and non-pet owners alike. Many suppose that if they do not have any pets than Fleas will not be a problem. This is in fact not true, Fleas and Ticks are mainly trafficked around by wild squirrels, rats and even birds. The Flea and Tick Treatment is an inside and out treatment that requires a Preparation List to be completed prior to service. This service combines many different techniques to accomplish the goal of a Flea and Tick free home.
